There are 30 new cancer diagnoses in South Australia every day. That’s more than 11,000 South Australians every year. Your support will help me change this terrible statistic.

Every dollar I raise through the Marilyn Jetty Swim will fund Cancer Council SA’s vital research, prevention programs and support services, like Cancer Council 13 11 20, for all South Australians impacted by cancer.

In 2002, I received a letter from the Cancel Council informing me that I was the recipient of a scholarship that covered the costs of my Medical Radiation degree. While my radiation therapy career was short lived, the opportunities I received thanks to the Cancer Council truly were a springboard to my career in Nursing.

This year I am finally donning the famous wig, sunnies and bathers and joining The Flying Marilyns in the Marilyn Swim on Sunday 8th February. Please support me, Eva, Sofie, Heidi, Mardi and Amanda and all the other Marilyns who will be taking part - any spare change you donate is greatly appreciated!
