Why is the location changing?
The Marilyn Jetty Swim is growing year-on-year, and as the number of Marilyns taking part has increased, so has the infrastructure required to hold such an event – it takes the Cancer Council SA team significant time, planning and resources to deliver.
As we couldn’t guarantee that conditions at Brighton Jetty would be favourable for swimming on the day, we decided to relocate the Marilyn Jetty Swim to Marion Outdoor Pool in February 2026.
Our aim was to deliver a great experience for our Marilyns while raising vital funds to support the thousands of South Australians impacted by cancer every year.
This change has also given us an exciting opportunity to adapt the event this year and explore new regional locations, bringing the Marilyn spirit to communities across South Australia. We're thrilled to be expanding to Naracoorte Swimming Lake and Hayden Stoeckel Swimming Pool in Berri!
We are thrilled to be able to provide an exciting, new experience for our Marilyns this year, and look forward to returning to the Brighton Jetty Classic in 2027.
Is there a registration fee?
For a regional Marilyn, the event registration fee is $25.
When do registrations close?
Don't miss out! Registrations close Thursday 26 February for our event at the Naracoorte Swimming Lake and Thursday 19 March for our event at the Hayden Stoeckel Swimming Pool in Berri.
How do I buy a swimsuit and swim ring?
Marilyn Merchandise can be purchased during registration, as well as through the Marilyn shop which is only accessibly via a registered fundraising page.
*A swimsuit and swim ring must be purchased during your registration for new Marilyns.
Merchandise and delivery information
Can I exchange my swimsuit size?
We accept exchanges within 30 days of purchase, provided you have the following:
- Proof of purchase (order number).
- Item/s are in their original condition, unworn and with tags and hygiene stickers still attached.
- We are unable to accept returns or exchanges due to change of mind, unless deemed faulty.
- Should you have any queries, please contact the Marilyn Jetty Swim team on 1300 65 65 85.
How much for delivery?
Shop sales (and orders taken over the phone) will incur a postage and handling fee of $10.80. Please note: the last orders will be delivered from our office one week prior to your event date. Order after this? No worries- we'll have your merchandise with us at the event for you to collect!
When will my Marilyn merchandise arrive?
Merchandise purchased through the Marilyn's Shop during your registration will be dispatched from Cancer Council SA, 202 Greenhill Road, Eastwood. Orders are currently delivered within 3–4 business days via Express Post. Once your order is shipped, you'll receive an email notification with your tracking number so you can follow your parcel's progress. Orders placed within one week of your event date will be available for collection at the event location. Please note that office pick-ups are not available.
