Your Impact

Cancer takes from too many of us, with one in two Australians diagnosed with cancer by the time they turn 85.

By taking part in the Marilyn Jetty Swim, you will be helping to raise vital funds for reducing cancer risk through community education, supporting South Australians through their life-changing cancer diagnosis, and investing in the research that will save lives.

Since we first began in 2014, the Marilyn Jetty Swim has raised $1,078,782 to enable Cancer Council SA to support those in our community impacted by cancer.

Tackling cancer takes all of us. With your fabulous support as 50s bombshell Marilyn, Cancer Council SA can be there and make sure no one has to go through cancer alone.

Who are Cancer Council SA?

Cancer Council SA is a leading cancer charity working across every aspect of every cancer. Every day, we support families affected by cancer when they need it most, speak out on behalf of the community on cancer issues, empower people to reduce their cancer risk, and find new ways to better detect and treat cancer.

Where the money goes

Tackling cancer takes all of us and with your help we're reducing the rate and impact of cancer for all South Australians.

Research

Nationally, we fund more cancer research than any other non-government organisation in Australia. Here in South Australia, Cancer Council’s Beat Cancer Project has funded more than 200 South Australian research initiatives across a range of cancers. With your support, we will continue working towards the next cancer breakthrough.
