There are 30 new cancer diagnoses in South Australia every day. That’s more than 11,000 South Australians every year. Your support will help me change this terrible statistic.

Every dollar I raise through the Marilyn Jetty Swim will fund Cancer Council SA’s vital research, prevention programs and support services, like Cancer Council 13 11 20, for all South Australians impacted by cancer.

Why I’ll be Marilyn for a day

Saturday 7th Feb
I first saw the Marilyn’s  floating around Brighton jetty while bike riding with my brother in law Mick in 2016.  He’d always joke that I’d be a Marilyn next year, to which I replied I can’t I’m too busy bike riding with you every Sunday. 
When he died from melanoma cancer just 11 days after his 61st birthday my excuse was gone. 
Mum had died from blood cancer and with many friends who have been challenged by breast cancer, Mick was right I can become a Marilyn and help raise funds to support cancer research.
