My Updates

Super Sue

Sunday 31st Jan
Only a week to go until I don the blonde wig and swim in the Brighton Jetty Classic as part of the Marilyns, swimming in the Blonde Bombshells Team raising funds for the Cancer Council. As I mentioned previously, I am dedicating my swim to my super mum, Sue, who was a huge supporter of the Cancer Council. Mum lost her battle with Cancer in 2003. Many have similar stories of courage and sadness, lets hope science kicks it out of the park in the future. If you can spare a couple of dollars to support my swim that would be awesome...or just come along to watch the antics next week. The cause is close to so many hearts, so many battles out there, none more so than my dear only uncle who sadly lost his battle this week in the UK. Life can be cruel but in true super Sue fashion her legacy lives on in her children and grand children....never give up, life life to the full, follow your passions and savior each precious moment with your loved ones.

Swimming for Sue

Sunday 22nd Nov
I am thrilled to be on the Blond Bombshell's Team for the Marilyn Swim. My amazing mum, Sue, was taken too soon by Cancer. She was a classic, so being part of the Brighton Classic is perfect.
Everyone is touched by Cancer in some way, this is my way of helping to fund research so hopefully no-one has to endure heartache in the future.
Mum will be swimming with me in spirit, laughing all the way.

Thank you to my Sponsors
